🍎 FairStream is on the App Store: debates from your iPhone and iPad

You can now download FairStream for iPhone and iPad. Create a candidate debate, invite the candidates and run the whole debate right from your phone. Prices are the same as on the web.

Release iPhone and iPad Czech municipal elections 2026

Since 30 September 2026 FairStream has been available on the App Store. The app is free, runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later and complements the Android app and the web version at app.fairstream.live.

Czech municipal elections take place on 9 and 10 October. If you want to host a candidate debate in your town, you can now prepare it from whatever device you have at hand.

It also works in the browser at app.fairstream.live, no installation needed.

What you can do in the app

  • Create a political debate or a moderated discussion: questions, candidates and answer time.
  • Invite candidates with a link. Candidates do not need to install anything, a browser on their phone or computer is enough.
  • Try everything in a rehearsal. A rehearsal lasts up to 20 minutes, is free, is not broadcast and is not recorded.
  • Run the debate. A moderator voice announces the question, the round and the speaker, a timer makes sure everyone gets the same time, and the Pass the floor button hands the turn to the next person.
  • Sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook or e-mail.

What it costs

Prices are the same on the web, on iPhone and iPad and on Android:

  • Free: debate up to 30 minutes, a limited number of slots, up to 7 days ahead.
  • Rehearsal: free.
  • Plus: CZK 190 including VAT, its own extra slots, so you find a free time even when the free slots are taken. Debate up to 60 minutes, booking up to 60 days ahead, transcript and AI summary, priority support.
  • Moderated discussions outside the elections: 2 hours a month free, then credit packs from CZK 129.

On iPhone and iPad you pay through the App Store and Apple sends the receipt. If you cancel a Plus debate 48 hours or more in advance, you get a credit for another slot. Details are in the pricing.

Who it is for

Municipalities, associations, schools, local newspapers and admins of community groups who want to give candidates equal space. FairStream keeps track of time and order on its own, so the moderator can focus on the questions.

How to start

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, or open app.fairstream.live.
  2. Sign in.
  3. Choose Create a political debate and go through the wizard.
  4. Send the candidates an invitation and do a rehearsal.
